Wyndham Orlando Resort & Conference Center | Overview & Review — 2 Foolish Mortals
The rooms at the resort were spacious, even with a king-sized bed. However, we discovered several issues that diminished our overall comfort. The bed itself was uncomfortable, with areas of the mattress sinking down to the platform. Noise was also a concern, as we could clearly hear conversations from both the hallway and the neighboring room. This lack of sound insulation affected our ability to rest and enjoy our stay. Additionally, we noticed signs of wear and neglect in the room, such as a poorly fitted bed skirt with stains and insufficient cleanliness in the bathroom and on some furniture.
Amenities and Transportation:
The resort offers several amenities, including a Kid Zone, a pool, fitness center and a shuttle service to the theme parks, including Walt Disney World, Universal, and SeaWorld. While these amenities might seem attractive, we found the shuttle schedule inconvenient and time-consuming, eating into valuable park time. We recommend guests consider bringing a car or relying on rideshare services, although the resort’s location and heavy traffic in the area can pose challenges for timely transportation.
